White Pine, Kiln Dried, Heat Treated, Clear grade lumber. Often described as a 12 ft, 1 x 6 (nominal sizing), this product typically measures 3/4 in thick by 5-1/2 in wide. Appearance notes: Surfaced on 4 Sides.
- White Pine has excellent workability and texture for ease of use in a variety of work; it's a favorite wood to choose for a variety of patterns and is an excellent source for interior trim
- Clear indicates that the lumber is virtually free of knots and visual defects and is suitable for remanufacture to moldings, stairway handrails, trim, cabinet work or a variety of other products where lumber of high appearance is required
- Kiln dried – moisture content of 19% or less; Heat Treated lumber is heated in a closed chamber in order to kill insects, fungi, or micro-organisms
- The board has been surfaced smooth on all 4 sides
