    Pine, Pressure Treated - Ground Contact, No. 2 & Better grade lumber. Often described as a 16 ft, 6 x 6 (nominal sizing), this product typically measures 5-1/2 in thick by 5-1/2 in wide. Appearance notes: Surfaced on 4 Sides.

    • Pine is a softwood which grows in most areas of the Northern Hemisphere; Pine is lightweight, straight grained and resists shrinking and swelling
    • No. 2 & Better grade lumber is used in all general construction; this grade is designed for the many uses where higher strength properties are not needed and where serviceability is important; few defects are permitted and knots of any quality are allowed
    • Pressure-treated with preservative agents to protect against termites, decay and rot; intended for above ground, ground contact, freshwater contact and saltwater splash
