    Western Red Cedar, Kiln Dried, Select Tight Knot grade lumber. Often described as a 14 ft, 1 x 6 (nominal sizing), this product typically measures 3/4 in thick by 5-1/2 in wide. Appearance notes: Pattern WP4.

    • Western Red Cedar is popular because it’s attractive, durable and naturally resistant to rot, decay and insect attacks which means it’s often used in outdoor applications
    • Select Tight Knot grade has knots, burls and naturally occurring markings which are of fairly uniform distribution and add to the decorative character of the piece
    • Kiln dried – moisture content of 19% or less
    • Pattern WP4 provides a flat, clean finish on the face and is beveled at both joints to create nice, shadow-line affect
